The Medication Question in Dementia: When Behavioral Changes Call for More and When They May Not
Behavioral and emotional changes such as agitation, aggression, trouble sleeping, and suspicion can be some of the most difficult parts of caring for someone living with dementia. Many families wonder if medication is the right choice. Dr. Kalisha Bonds Johnson will help care partners understand how to take an active role in conversations about medication. Participants will learn what questions to ask, what factors to consider, and how to work with their healthcare team to make decisions that are right for their family. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
